Last week, I was lucky enough to attend a media preview of Yew's Sunday Dining Series. Every Sunday in July and August, Yew is hosting a Crab and Lobster Boil. For more info about the event, click here.
Upon arriving, we were greeted with a glass of sangria.
For the first course, we had fresh Burrata cheese, Ceviche Halibut and Dungeness Crabcakes. We also had their Baby Gem Lettuce Salad (not pictured). I love how fresh the ingredients were, everything tasted so good.
For the main course, we had the boiled Lobster and Dungeness Crab. Served alongside were roasted corn, marbled potatoes, sauteed zucchinis, grilled broccolini. The veggies were my favourite. They complimented the seafood well.
Pictured below were some of the desserts we had. On the left is the Cherry Cream Puff - kirsch soaked cherries, cherry pop rocks & coffee cremeux. The one on the right is Strawberry Rhubarb & Basil Verrine - rhubarb jam, strawberries, pistachio biscuit, basil butter cake and creme fraiche.
Overall, i think the dinner was a great and fun experience. We all left feeling full and satisfied.
